Delta State Union (DSU) is a non-profit making Social-Cultural organisation comprising all indigenes of Delta State resident in Hamburg, Germany. Many of us came to study in Europe and decided to stay, to make contributions to the society, while some others migrated to Europe for Business purposes or family re-unions. However, despite our stay here, Delta State, the ´´Big Heart´´ has remained within us. It is our firm believe that by working in unity, we can contribute to the development of Delta State and its people, both here in Europe and back at home.

Our aim therefore is to come together to:-

Promote unity and understanding amongst members;

Promote and maintain the culture of the people of Delta State

Promote the economic and social / Cultural development of Delta state and its people in Hamburg.

Contribute to the development of Delta State through Community Projects

Seek to influence government policy in the development of the State.

Work closely with the Delta State government and the international community to promote sustainable peace and improve the standard of living of the people of Delta State

Work closely with other humanitarian organisations and institutions, to bring help to the needy and the indigent in our society.

As a dynamic Union, we believe that our positive contributions will bring physical, economic and social-cultural development to our people in Hamburg, Germany and Delta State in general.
